Prayer for the Sick and Staff

Oh Lord of all mercy, we commend to you the needs of our patients. Hear our prayers for those who are sick in our hospital today and miss the fun and activities of life. Touch and heal them, oh gentle Jesus, for we treat but You heal and victory is our goal. Grant them relief in their pains and isolation, that they may enjoy your comfort. Strengthen their faith and hope in you. May all who come to this our Hospital experience your care, love, and presence. Oh our God, teach us to receive the sick in Thy name. Give to our efforts success for the glory of Thy Holy Name. Grant that the sick thou hast placed in our care may be abundantly blessed and not one of them be lost because of any neglect on our part. Help us to overcome every temporal weakness and strengthen in us whatever may enable us to bring joy to the lives of those we serve. Give us grace for the sake of Thy sick ones and of those lives that will be influenced by them. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Staff Pledge

I pledge to God Almighty and to Jesus Christ my Saviour, to serve the lowly and the sick, poor, with dignity, respect, passion, empathy, humility, compassion, and love. To see Jesus Christ in every patient and treat them as my master. To sacrifice everything required of me for their healing. To endure every pain and insult that I may receive from patients and not to deliberately hurt, shout, or exchange words with any patient.

So help me God. Amen.
